This Full Moon on May 3rd 2015 is the Wesak Moon. This is an important Buddhist holiday marking the birth, enlightenment, and death of The Buddha. Theosophy has added further significance to the Sun in Taurus opposite the Moon in Scorpio Full Moon. The few minutes around the exact moment of this Full Moon is said to be when the Buddhic and Christ energies combine to direct an annual infusion of spiritual energy and light into humanity and into our Mother Earth.
